Our story began in 1985,

when our founder, Aileen, was distressed with severe cystic acne (one of the worst forms of acne) and hormonal imbalance. It was mortifying to speak with someone - only to notice their eyes are wandering towards her acne during the conversation. It impacted her self-esteem and confidence level when facing others. 


It took many trial and error before success came; she discovered that there are other factors that play a part in our skin’s overall health, like stress, diet, environment, lifestyle, and skincare routine.


Having experienced her lowest of the low with her skin, Aileen established Nydia with a passionate purpose to help others who are also facing skin problems; hindering their self-esteem to speak with confidence.

Here at Nydia, our main priority is to help customers understand their skin, assist in identifying their main concerns and work hand-in-hand towards their skin goals.


We take clear communication very seriously - this is to avoid miscommunication and also to provide a comfortable & stress-free environment for customers to relax during their treatment and time with us.
